My Name is George...

I have been married for 46 years. Toni (wedding ceremonies by Anntoinette ) and I have 4 children and 10 grand children. Being retired at this point in life I can fully enjoy the art form of photography and can experiment with the new digital form of computer programs and digital cameras. It is wonderful to be able to photograph and enhance images.

For over fifty years the enjoyment of taking photographic images is still as enjoyable to me today as it was when I first started. My love for photography began in the late 40’s when my mom's cousin, who was a professional photographer, gave me my first camera and my love for photography began.

He became my mentor he taught me how cameras work. How lenses, lighting and exposures effect the subject. But the most import thing he taught me was composition. He would say equipment is 20 percent of taking picture, 80 percent is your imagination and experience In the navy, I learned a different type of photography form - industrial, commercial and all types of day and night subjects.
